| Oh gosh, I really dont wanna work on this essay due tomorrow for mr symons. It hurts my head with 200 words. Hell, I cant even think of one word which is troubling me enough. Jeez. Well, im back on xanga.....obviously. Its funny how much you change within a few years or so. I was reading some old posts and oh gosh, I really did sound like I was high off some magic 24/7 crack everyday. But I guess going from a hyper maniac to whatever the heck I am now can be considered some weird change I guess. So my aunt and uncle from Taiwan are staying in NY for a few weeks or even a month here. They're so nice to me which makes me feel terrible that I cant speak any mandarin. I would want to learn to be able to talk to them. After all, they did give me my "super chopsticks" I gotta say those are the coolest weapon-like utensils ever.  The thing about my house now is that its so quiet. I guess thats because I miss Jess and Katherine. Yes, I actually do. Who else can I poke and bother and make fun of 24/7? Plus, Jess has a chocolate fountain....which is so unfair. Well, im surprised by sophmore year so far. Theres so much work I dont want to do and it disgusts me oh so very much. I never thought that this year I can actually do math(which is lyke a miracle) or get so confused by Chemisty. But surprisingly, it wasnt as terribly horrific as I anticipated it to be. And to be honest, im glad it didnt turn out too bad. Of course, theres more to be expected so I cant expect too much. People still think im a small freshman but whatever. I really do act and look lyke one to be honest sometimes, lol. Sometimes u can never grow up. Which is so true cuz hey, there is still some enjoyment to watching old school pokemon on boomerang. | - Pineapple Princess Sigh, 4 more days till school. I want to have a good time this year hopefully because I didnt appreciate freshman year as I hoped, though I do wanna see my friends again. But over all, Im not all that estatic really for school......back to loads of work, more tests to study, more eyebags, and more crappy stuff. Plus I dont know waht to bring. But hopefully, all will be well. Hopefully it will be a future sucessful sophmore year. But im miss Hawaii and CTY sooooooo much! The hot weather, pretty beaches with big waves crashing upon shore, palm trees swaying in the wind, singing broadway musicals and Pineapple princess! on top of my lungs with my crazy Kukui hall, bein a red hot tamale, Oceanography D, ERS and slapping pplz hands, pineapples, crack bears, boating, body- surfing, raving with glowsticks, bellydancing/unleashing the coundalini (I AM Dolphina!), the dances, trying to hitch a ride on golf carts, soccer, mandatory fun!, drunkeness on a boat, volleyball tournament, turtles on a beach, "inappropriate" sleepovers, sign language, my oceanography class friends, my lovely Kukui girls, and of course the cute/hot guys (one who gave me my first dance/"date" ^_^) omigosh everything about CTY was awsome and I still miss it. I just miss it so much its ridiculous. All of the above may seem pretty crazy sounding but it was all wonderful and worth it all. And everything about Hawaii was just the best. Now im just bored (thus im on xanga, myspace, and facebook) these days. Oh well. Here's to a wonderful summer u guys. Ohh and by the way, who has bus route #8? | ^Tehe cats, good movie. Its hard trying to pay attention and actually pack all my stuff cuz I'm leaving for Hawaii for CAA (egash, I looove CAA) in like, a DAY. And after I leave Sunday, im not gonna be in NY for a month. Yes, a month. This to me is pretty exhilarating because traveling all alone is quite new and all. And yes, I still havent packed yet. This gave me excuse to go shopping and all so its alright.  I am sooooooo excited and hope this wud be the best trip to Hawaii everr. But yes, im really gonna try and make this experience count the best way I can and actually talk to pplz this time.
I forgot to mention how awsome the 4th of July was. Yea, its a bit late. Coney Island with Jess and her friends was so fun except for almost flying off the Cyclone and cutting myself with my nails in fear. But it was so much fun with all the rides and the dirty beach, lol. But ew, so many friggen pervs, ewww. And going up to the secret place to watch all the fireworks in Chinatown, that was just awsome!
Anyways, I got to work on my artistic skills a lot this week and the watercolor pencils must be the coolest things ever cuz it makes things more....watery.  And all the drawings look so much better. When I get back, more watercoloring and stuff. By the way, Pirates 2 was pretty good but the end was wtf?? to me so that lessened the coolness. And I MUST see john tucker must die. That looks hilaaaarious, not to mention the pool boy! Yay! Oh crap, I still feel guilty for not going to that sale in Soho......

Sigh, what lazy summer days pass by......I did sum stuff, bookeeping and those checks for the family buisness is so tiring so blah to that. Saw the devil wears prada, it was actually pretty good cuz of sum of the cute clothes not to mention the guy from entourage, heeh. But I really wanna see Pirates 2!!! yay yay yay. Oy, im pathetic. Anyone wanna go see it? And omg, so much shopping to do. After all, only 13 more days till I leave to the west coast... But seriously, I have a lot to look for and Forever 21 literally strained all my thinking not to mention sight, lol. But cheap sale for skirts at that other place, now that was cool. Not to mention creamy creamy cream puffs. And wow, England lost last game I checked. Looks lyke a lot of british battling this week.
Anyways, I feel strangely lonely and extremely lazy these days. Probably cuz I dont hav any significant plans anymore. Or perhaps im just waiting for sumthin to happen. Y'know its so silly how I always expect something but really its that I have to make it happen and not just wait so much, with little time a wasting. I dunno, I really wanna meet up with friends or pplz and hav a good time just chilling. I think itll be fun. But everyones always o so busy... Oh well. Anyways, the 4th floor of the factory has that really varnished smell, so lets say its quite the high stimulator.  Sooooo anyways, hoping u guys r enjoying urselves this summer. -Lauren <3 | | |
| - It's About Time First before I start venting out my anger, let me just say a Happy Birthday to Myra! If ur fone only accepted pics, I wud had sent u "balloons" and "cake", lmaooo. But hav a good one dearie!
Now about today........I was honestly pissed off by what happened today. Cuz its always fun whenever great friends lyke them around and I feel close them for quite a while. But what happened today really got my parents as well as myself really kinda upset. Lyke ill always welcome old friends but really, I felt lyke I was being used today so they can hav a place to socialize and all. As well as surprises I was not informed of. Surprises occuring in my "home" without permission or notice. And if there's something that actually angers me, its being used in that way. At least they should hav told me wut kind of surprise plans and stuff that was gonna happen in the store so at least there would be a sense of consent. After all, I dont own the whole place, my whole family does. So in a way, my whole family felt disrespected because they were holding surprises and other things that I didnt expect to happen. And its really terrible to feel that feeling of disrespect whenever we offer hospitality. Oh and believe me, my parents were more than pissed off at me today. It sucks to feel used in that way and I really hope that my good friends, whomever thought of these ideas and such, I just want them to give equal respect to me and my "second home" by not doing wut they did today. I admit im an overly passive person when it comes to forgiving friends and all but disrespect is sumthin thats harder to forgive and forget. Just wanted yall to know.
Im still o so unhappy I cant go to Six Flags this Friday with the lunch group. But egash, its maddddd far. And yahh, too far for comfort. Crapiolas. Well, regents were easier than i thought. And SUMMER'S HERE!!!! Yayyy!- Lauren | | |
